Three Palm Trees

I painted this simple picture a couple of months ago, before I started this blog.  Unfortunately, I wasn't on location...this was from a photograph in a magazine.  I like the shapes and the colors.

Trees and Dandelions

It was fun to sit in the shade yesterday and paint the trees at the edge of  Laurel's neighbor's field.  She said the dandelions are going to be mowed down soon; I'm glad they were there for our painting session!

I found this brown cow standing out in the pasture near my home.  She just stared at me, with kind of a "so what" attitude, so I took a photo of her, and this is my first attempt at painting her.
